Terms of Service — Caliba Document Scanner (Android)

1. Scope & License

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Caliba Android application (package com.polyforge.magicpage), published by PolyForgeOnline. We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use Caliba on compatible Android devices owned or controlled by you for personal or commercial document productivity.

2. Local Storage & User Backup Responsibility

Caliba operates with an entirely on-device architecture. All documents, scans, extracted text, and invoice records remain strictly on your device or user-chosen Storage Access Framework (SAF) / Photo Picker destinations. PolyForgeOnline does not operate cloud storage, document sync, or remote backup servers for Caliba.

You are solely responsible for creating regular backups of your documents and exporting local .mpbak backup archives to external or secure storage destinations. PolyForgeOnline has no ability to restore lost, deleted, or corrupted documents if your device is damaged, lost, or reset.

3. Subscriptions & Google Play Billing (Caliba Pro)

Caliba provides core document scanning, editing, and utility tools free of charge, supported by advertising. Users may optionally upgrade to Caliba Pro to remove advertisements and access premium features. Pro options include:

• docnextg_pro_monthly — Monthly auto-renewing subscription
• docnextg_pro_yearly — Annual auto-renewing subscription
• docnextg_pro_lifetime — One-time lifetime purchase (non-consumable)

All purchases and subscriptions are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. PolyForgeOnline never receives, processes, or stores your credit card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing cycle via the Google Play Store app (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Refunds are governed strictly by Google Play refund policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Caliba only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold legal ownership, rights, or authorization for any documents you capture, scan, convert, sign, redact, or share using Caliba.

5. Disclaimers & Accuracy of Calculations (OCR, Invoice & Tax)

Caliba and all associated utilities are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Optical character recognition (OCR) is powered by on-device machine learning models; users must review and verify all extracted text for accuracy. Invoicing and tax calculation utilities provide automated math tools for convenience; users must review and verify all calculations, item totals, and tax amounts before relying on them for accounting or tax compliance.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall PolyForgeOnline or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of documents, data, or profits.
